I am thinking of you today, Arnaud. It's your birthday. It's still so hard to believe that you aren't here - cracking corny jokes, listening intently, sharing wisdom, eyes sparkling, gentle smile. There was always so much gentleness that surrounded you. You had no capacity for cruelty whatsoever. You never wanted to hurt anyone or anything. Anyway, you are missed. You would be 51 today. Crazy. Time has flown. I'm so glad my memories of you are peaceful, filled with laughter, rich conversation, happiness. Happy birthday, friend. I miss you.

Arnaud, I am thinking of you and all who love you. Your family, your friends, everyone. Thinking mostly of you though. Reflecting on the Arnaud I knew. I looked through all the pictures of you again. I laughed out loud at so many of them. The ones with your longer hair are how I remember you the most. I remember the conversation we had about you growing your hair, so funny. I love seeing how much fun and joy you had in your life. I am so thankful you lived surrounded by so much love and laughter. You were always such a thinker. I remember our conversations that were filled with intense analyzing and philosophical ramblings. Since they were mostly late at night, the weird WV phone centre shift hours, it was regular routine for one of us to crack a dumb joke and that was it, we would have unstoppable giggles and there was no point in trying to talk seriously after that. So much fun. I remember when you fell asleep while I was telling you a story about myself, sitting in your car in the WV parking lot. Lolll!! I didn’t know you had a nice singing voice. I learned that tonight. I can only imagine how much fun you were at karaoke. What did you chose to sing, I wonder. What songs were in your heart? I light this candle in your memory today. I am thinking of you. I miss you. I know I am not alone in this. You are in my heart, dear friend. You always will be. I am so, so lucky to have known you. We all are.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Arnaud. I worked with him in the telephone centre of World Vision Canada in the mid-late 1980s. Arnaud was 5 years younger than me, but he was such a good friend. He was kind, caring, funny, and so very wise beyond his years.
I have wonderful memories of talking in the parking lot between shifts and of the time he drove to my house at 3:30 in the morning to pick me up for work because it was snowing so hard and he knew I was afraid to drive in the snow.
He and I went to the movie “Beaches” together and he cried harder in the movie than I did. Lol. Afterwards he told me about how much he loved grandpa in France, and how much he was missing him. He apologized for being emotional and I told him that he won my respect because he was not afraid to feel what he was feeling.
The last time I talked to Arnaud was many years ago. I called on a day when I was needing a trusted friend to talk to. He was patient in his listening and his words to me were kind and hopeful. I remember telling him how much I missed our long chats. I remember him saying that he did, too. There was silence for a moment and then we both laughed. We said goodbye still laughing.
Dear Arnaud - trusted friend - I still miss our chats. I am glad we were laughing when we said goodbye. Je t’aime.

Pierrick et moi-même nous associons à notre modeste mesure à votre peine immense.
Perdre un enfant dans des conditions aussi brutales est intolérable.
Et pourtant, il faut continuer à vivre.
Nous ne doutons pas que vous saurez garder bien vivant le souvenir de sa personnalité.
Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir eu l’occasion de mieux le connaître, la distance nous en a empêchés.
Mais parcourir la galerie de photos, sur ce site que vous rédigé avec amour et délicatesse, a permis de nous rapprocher de lui et de le voir, heureux parmi ses amis.
C’était un garçon bien : il est déjà regretté par ceux qui le connaissaient.
Au delà de sa fa famille, il va manquer à beaucoup de personnes.

My deepest sympathy to Arnaud's parents, family and close friends on his passing. May he rest in peace, free from any pain or suffering. I am deeply shocked and saddened by his early passing. I knew Arnaud at PwC for many years through the IT Dept. He was very kind, knowledgeable, dedicated and just a breath of fresh air to deal with! I will always remember dealing with him very frequently on one difficult issue and appreciated the perspective that he brought to try and solve the matter. Always a helpful team player. RIP.

I met Arnaud in 1998 when I moved to Mississauga from Peterborough to start my career. I rented a room from him for many years. We became very good friends. He was always busy doing something interesting. Building or fixing things typically. I was amazed at what he did with computers. It was very handy as I am not tech savvy at all.
He met my family and they absolutely adored him. We went golfing together, but it honestly was best ball because I am really bad. He always let me drive the cart as he knew I liked that. As time carried on he always supported me and was there to listen and was always there for me. I ended up moving back to my home town and we kept in touch. Being an important part of my life he was the Master of Ceremonies at my wedding. Wow, he did a great job!
Dominique and John, you did such an amazing job of raising Arnaud into a successful loving man that showed kindness, compassion and love to all that were important to him. You are wonderful people. Arnaud really was the brother I never had in my life. Always caring and there for me.
Arnaud, if tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I’d walk
right up to heaven and bring you home again.
I can’t believe that you are gone from me. I am going to miss our conversations. You have left emptiness within me, but I know that you will be always looking over me and for that my heart will always smile. For that reason alone Arnaud, I know that you will be resting until we meet again. I love you and I miss you already.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Arnaud. I have known and worked with Arnaud for many years at PwC and he always stayed in touch especially at Christmas time when I knew I would get an email and a chat from him. He never missed a year and I'll cherish his last email from December 2018. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Arnaud is a lucky person. I was so very sorry to hear of Arnaud's passing. I worked with Arnaud at PricewaterhouseCoopers and he was always willing to help me with my computer and we became good friends. We both lived in Whitby and used to bump into each other at the train station. He was a lovely person with a good heart and I can't believe he is gone. I am sitting here working at home and his old computer is to my left. When he moved houses, he gave me his old computer and he came to my home and set it up for me to ensure it was working properly. I only found out today of his passing, March 19th and I am in total shock. Arnaud you will be missed by many. See you one day again soon, Susan Mitchell.

Arnaud at a gathering at Thomas' house with the PwC Field Support crew - this was back in 2012 - on August 31st. I tried to set him up for the photo, and he did his best "suave" look, and I think he succeeded! He was having a great time here, and it was a fun time of conversation with all!

I had known Arnaud since 1993. He was such a kind person. He used to tell me about his trips to France when he was a child and how important his grandmother was to him. I am very sad to hear of this great loss. I will be forever grateful that Dominique reached out to me to inform me of this very sad news. I will be forever appreciative that I was able to speak to her. My sincere condolences to Dominique, John and his extended family. R.I.P my dear friend.

We have lost such a beautiful soul and I will so miss his kind and always deep conversations. He was so open and helped my daughter settle into his condo, and let me set my mind at ease knowing she was "home". Arnaud came out to my farewell from PwC and shared his wishes with me, I will never forget his words and for this I love him.
