Obituary of Anna Lyagina

It is with deep love and great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Lyagina, who passed away peacefully at the age of 85, on October 28, 2025.

Anna was born in 1940 in Kiev, Ukraine. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose kindness, strength, and warmth touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Irina and Alla and their husbands Yury and Mark. Anna was an adoring grandmother to Eugene, Anna, Jake and to great granddaughter Sophie, who brought her endless pride and joy.

She found her greatest happiness in caring for her family and welcoming others into her home. Anna was a wonderful cook, known for preparing delicious meals and treats that brought people together. Nothing made her happier than seeing others enjoy her food and share laughter around her table.

She loved the outdoors and gardening, and cherished summers at the beach.

Anna will be remembered as a woman whose heart was full of love, her gentle spirit, her unwavering devotion to her family, and whose presence made life brighter for all who knew her.

She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
