Obituary of Maddalena Ruggiero

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday September 24th, 2016 at the age of 85. Dearly loved mother of Luco and Carmelina (Rosario), Loving Grandmother of Carmela, Maddalena, John, Anna Maria, Michelle and beloved sister of Lucia (the late Rocco Antonio) Manserra., Maddalena will always be remembered through her memories of her beautiful garden, she loved spending time outside on her porch, spending time with family, cooking, she loved making her own pasta,home made sauce and her love for sewing. She always had a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife ( Michele), mother and friend. The dearest Grandmother in the world, loved more than words can say. Her memory is our keepsake, with which we'll never part. God has her in His keeping, we have her in our hearts. Sadly missed but never forgotten. Rest In Peace Maddalena . Friends can join the family for a visitation on Thursday, September 29 from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the eco Life Celebration Sanctuary of St. John the Baptist (Norway) Anglican Church, 470 Woodbine Ave., Toronto. The church is located on the north west corner of Kingston Road and Woodbine. Guests can enter off of Woodbine, using the north parking lot entrance. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, September 30 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Church, 300 Wolverleigh Blvd., Toronto (2 blocks north of Danforth, west of Woodbine), followed by a Rite of Committal (entombment) at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Lane, Willowdale.
