Obituary of Ruben Flores Pacquing
Memorial of Ruben Pacquing
Ruben Flores Pacquing was born on January 16, 1950 in Mariveles, Bataan, Philippines to his mother Salud, father Felimon, and two older brothers Wilfredo and Jaime. Ruben knew the town of Mariveles just as he knew its mountains and waters. He loved nature, and was privileged to have been taught by the Aeta.
He came to Toronto, Ontario, Canada to be with the love of his life Susan, where he would bring three beautiful children and one beautiful grandchild to the world: Rafael, Robin, and Mykelle and grandson Amian. With every moment he showered them with love, and they loved him for it. He brought light to homes with his art, gaining respect and admiration for his work.
He loved nature and understood it, knowing when to respect it, but also when to thrive in it. He now watches over his loved ones, having given them everything they need to thrive and continue giving the love that he gave so freely. On September 29, 2016, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, he shed his shell, having outgrown it, joining his ancestors before him, preparing those ready to take his place.
