Obituary of Shafqat Waqar Chaudhry
Shafqat Waqar Chaudhry was born on the Saturday, 12th day of April, 1958. God has blessed him with wonderful parents, loving family and caring friends. He completed his high school from St. Joseph High School, Lahore, and graduated from Former Christian College, Lahore.
He was known as a business tycoon in Lahore, Pakistan. He started Shafqat Estate in 1983 with nothing, but with his commitment, dedication and hard work, he took his business to the peak of the industry. Beside business activities, he had a soft heart for humanity.
He was a founding member and the Chair Person of Mother Teresa Welfare Society. He always stood along with suffering people, raised their concerns and actively resolves the issues they were facing. He was well involved in political activities with different political parties, even party heads use to appreciate him for his services.
He moved to Canada in 2005, in a very short period of time he earned lot of respect and love. He was involved within Church activities, organized conferences and played key role in well-being of the community. Not only this, he was frequently invited as a guest of honour and guest speaker to several occasions. He was recognized for his hardwork and presented with various awards in Pakistan, UAE, United Kingdom, USA and Canada.
Shafqat Waqar Chaudhry (who is now with his Lord), passed away peacefully at George Town Hospital on Tuesday, 24th day of January, 2017. He will be dearly missed for his candour and warm heartedness.

Following funeral services in Brampton, Ontario, Shafqat will be laid to rest in his native Pakistan with the assistance of Eastland Funeral Services by eco.
