Obituary of John Edward Underwood

John Edward Underwood was born in Barrie, Ontario on November 11, 1965. He died unexpectedly on April 19, 2017 at Michael Garron Hospital. John was predeceased by both his parents, Joan and Robert. He is survived and missed greatly by his sister Kim, her husband Scott and his nephews Tyler and Corson. He will also be missed by his cousins Wendy & Ken, Scott & Dee and his favourite Aunt Jessie. John’s love for animals, especially dogs, was evident in his working tirelessly for long hours to ensure the ones in his care were well-treated. John was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease as a young man, and it affected his life greatly. We would ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada. In accordance with John's wishes, cremation has taken place, and he will return to nature with his ashes being scattered at the scattering garden in St. John's Norway Cemetery. We invite you to celebrate John's life with us on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 3-6 p.m. at 24 Hunt Club Drive, Toronto (north of Kingston Road, east of Victoria Park Avenue).
