I remember coming to your home to help with Chris' physio when he (and I) were much younger. I don't remember how old he was but I do remember his patience - and sometimes impatience!- with the exercises he had to do.
I'm not sure what made me think of him today. I'm so sorry for your loss but was happy to see that he lived a good long life, and touched many people.

Dear Lori,
I was deeply saddened to learn of Chris's passing. I first met him when he was 4 years old at the start of his "patterning" program. I will always remember his quick wit, his devious smile and his patience with all the physio therapy that he endured.
My heartfelt sympathies to you, Vicky and family.
RIP Chris.

Lori, Vicki and family,
I wish I knew the words to say that would bring peace to all of you.Chris is missed so very much by the residents, staff and families at Chester Village. As a staff member there, I had the joy of getting to know Chris. I have always been impressed by his positive attitude and humour. He tricked me into an arm wrestle one day and wow, he got me good (to the delight of his table mate who heartily laughed at my failings). I truly feel blessed for having known him.

I feel so blessed to have had Chris in my life. We were more than just cousins...we were buds!! I felt like an absolute rock star being around him cuz he stole the show where ever he went. Ask anyone who was at my mom and dad's 50th anniversary party who the real stars of that show were and they'll tell you it was Chris and our 100 yr old gramma Ferguson. They were absolute icons I tell ya'!!!!!!
I loved his laugh...I wished I could laugh like that. I envied his hair...I wish I could have a coif like that. And I LOVED his spirit...we should all live our lives with his optimism and perseverance.
He was a kind soul, a stellar card player, a great role model, a true inspiration and a handsome son of a gun.
The world was a far far far better place with him in it and it feels like there's just something missing from it since he left.
I MISS HIM!!!!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Chris' self proclaimed favourite cousin,
Dean Ferguson

Dear Lori, Vicki, Lois, Ross, Jada, Tyler, Doug, Dean and Kent,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Chris. I was heartbroken when I heard about it ( and Aunt Mare's too). It was such a pleasure to work with Chris . I remember my first day working with him. I was having a rather difficult day when I got the call to start working with Chris. From the moment I stepped in the front door, Lori and Chris made me feel totally at ease. They were quite the pair !! Lori the chef and Chris the gourmet feeder....and boy, did he love her cooking. It smelled so good, I was jealous of his meals. I have many favourite times with Chris, but 2 stand out. The first being Doris Day movies. I can't see one without thinking of Chris. The other favourite times I had with Chris was when I used to take him bowling. We had a blast from the time of loading him in the van, strapping him down and then the drive to the bowling alley. We had such fun on that drive.... I would sing like a maniac and he would be laughing so hard ! And the bumpy roads going to the alley - I would count the speed bumps like The Count from Sesame Street and Chris would be busting a gut in the back. And I was sooo jealous of him because he was a much better bowler than me.....and I always tried so hard. I feel blessed for knowing Chris and his whole family. God bless you all !
