We met Olga on our first trip to Canada she gave us a very warm welcome. She was a very talented artist and we were delighted to be shown her paintings that were amazing, vibrant and colourful these were the personal qualities that she had and this was reflected in her artwork. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent in the Holtam house as a child. Olga always made me feel so welcome. She was an amazing cook and always invited me to stay for dinner. She was never short of jokes and truly had the best laugh. She was always quick to offer me a ride to school when she saw me walking and I still cherish a little cross that she gave me at my first communion. Such a talented artist, so generous, so full of life. I felt so lucky to have her as my Godmother. She will be missed.
