Dear Lucas and Sidney,
I am so happy I got to know your mother. The best thing about living in Qatar, was to meet and get to know people from all over the world. Being so far away from family, your friends became family. We celebrated birthdays, christmases and went on camping trips in the desert or just hang out for coffee.
Gill, Trish and I had endlessly discussions on what to call things and trying to figure out what stuff would cost in Canadian dollars, british pounds or Norwegian krones. Something we instantly contiued in October.
I am so glad we could visit you in Toronto. We had a wonderful stay and it was so great to see you all. You have become such great people and your mother was so proud of you.

When I think of Trish I think of her boundless generosity, going beyond your wildest imaginings. Trish made the cake for my son's graduating class and of course I knew the cake would be beautiful and delicious. What I couldn't have predicted were the figures of each grad lovingly sculpted to perfection right down to making sure the eye colour was correct! We still have ours displayed and I will often look at it and marvel at the wonderful person behind its creation. Trish, you will be so missed.

So very sorry to hear of the loss of one of my besties from high school. Patty, as we called her, was full of spunk and spirit and lead our beautiful foursome on some amazing adventures. A high school friend, a roommate and part of our gruesome foursome....it was Patty (Trish), Lisa and Chris and I against the world away back when. So many great memories!!
I am greatly saddened by the news of Patty's battle and passing. Although our adult lives took different paths, we all have a little bit of each other that we carry with us, and that we have always held close to our hearts.

I’ll always remember the joy Trish took in creating the grad cakes at Pape. I taught both Lucas and Sydney at Pape, who took after their mom with their kind hearts and giving smiles.
