I met John at a time in my life were I was struggling with depression and I was in need of a friend. John always made sure I was happy and always went above and beyond to make me smile. We both had the same passion for fashion and to me he was like a brother from another mother.

My condolences and prayers are with his family. I will forever cherish the relationship we had.

I took this photo of him in New York at a Fashion event and I titled it “Joy” at the time. Now it all makes sense John was light in the dark, even though he always wore black to me he was always light.
