Obituary of Elizabeth ‘Bea’ F. Meharg

Meharg, Elizabeth (known affectionately as Bea) F. -

Passed away peacefully in hospital on October 1st, 2019 at the age of 91. Bea will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Jackie (Brad), Norma, Nancy, grand-daughter Erika and sister Jean (along with her large and close-knit family).  She was predeceased by her husband of over 55 years John (Jack) Meharg.  

Many children began their lives with one of her specially hand crocheted blankets or hats.  Each winter specially gifted custom knit mittens, hats and sweaters, still keep the wearers warm because of her kindness.   She also contributed fun and beauty to many baby showers, weddings and celebrations through creatively decorated cakes and homemade chocolates. 

Her life will be celebrated privately by family.  As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Toronto via the Donations link on her homepage.
