Obituary of Ronald Edward Stone

RONALD EDWARD STONE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Edward Stone on January 11, 2016 at the age of 85, with his beloved Patricia by his side. Ron was the loving partner of Patricia Romard for the last 35 years. He was a wonderful father to Judy (Bruce), Karen (Graeme) and Jeff (Amit). He was loved dearly by his grandchildren, Christopher, Scott, Taylor, Brent and Michelle (Matthew) and great-grandchildren Brady and Myles. Ron was also very close to Patricia’s children, Ronald (Francoise), Dianne (Rob), Cindi (Tony), Sheila, Raymond, Perry (Leanne) and grandchildren, Amelie, Genevieve, Alex, Erin, Marie & Yvonne. Ron had many interests in life. He loved racquetball, golf, dogs and working out at the gym. His greatest passion was his company, Avenue Moving and Storage, which will carry on as his legacy. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Dorothy Ley Hospice. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Dorothy Ley Hospice will be appreciated. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, January 17th, 2016 at the Magnolia Room of St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium, 737 Dundas St. East, Mississauga from 1-2 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Refreshments will follow.
