Obituary of Francesco Celebre
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Francesco(Frank) Celebre announce his passing on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at the age of 74, surrounded by his family.
Francesco will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Michael (Sara), Christina (Nick), his grandchildren Rachel, Isabellaand Emilia, by his siblings Rosina(RaffaelePredeceased), Pasquale(Predeased)(Anna),Giuseppe (Immacolata), Eugenio (Rosetta), Iolanda(Francesco Predeased), Rocco (Maria), Laura and by his many nieces, nephews, cousinsand friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Gaetano, RosariaCelebre.
Francesco arrived from Calabria Italy as a young teen, and quickly adapted to his new home in Toronto. Those who knew him would describe him as a generous man, who had a great love of nature. His favorite pastime was fishing, his family and friends have many fond memories of the adventureshe would take them on. Francesco was always the life of the party, whether quick with a joke or the first to the dance floor, he would always make every occasion a memorable one.
We welcome you to visit with us on Monday, September 14, 2020 for visiting from 12:15 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at which time a Funeral Service will be held. All to take place at the eco Life Celebration Centre-Magnolia Chapel of St. John's Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium (737 Dundas Street East, at Cawthra). Please park in the large lot and proceed through the cemetery gates to the large building ahead.
The Rite of Committal will then follow at Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Road at Hwy 407). 100 guests are permitted here.
COVID-19 Governmental regulations restrict the number of people to 50 the building at any given time, so please bear this in mind as you may be asked to wait patiently, outside before entering. Face coverings or masks are mandatory upon entry. Individuals without must produce a doctor's statetment in lieu. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

You are reminded to ensure you have your volume on high and to understand that neither the video, nor audio will be cinema quality.
