Obituary of Bebeta Beril Williamson

Our mother and first love Bebeta Beril Campbell was born in Cuba on August 24, 1936 to her parents Edmond & Tatlyn Campbell. 

Bebeta was raised in the parish of St. Mary Jamaica, and was sister to 7 siblings.

As a young woman working in Clarendon, Bebeta met and married Edward Williamson in 
1955, and together they raised 7 children. Melford, Keith, Carl, Hugh, Fay, Christine and 
Lois.

Bebeta and Edward were devout Seventh-day Adventists, and would raise their children in that faith. 
In the early seventies, the family moved from Jamaica to Toronto, Canada.

Edward worked as a Ironworker while Bebeta was a housewife and business owner.

Bebeta, also fondly known as Miss. B. wore many hats in her life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a friend to many. Miss. B. was always willing to lend a loving hand to anyone who needed her.

Bebeta Williamson was not just our mother, she was our superhero. She was a strong 
and fierce protector of her children. She was inpendent, compassionate, 
understanding and an inspiring soul that was not afraid to speak her truth, and was loved and respected for it.

Bebeta transitioned at her home in Brampton, with her family on Monday January 17, 
2022 to be with her loving husband Edward, her son Carl, and her grandsons Kadeem 
and Jafari, and great granddaughter Ayesha as well as our many, great and powerful ancestors. She will be greatly missed.

God created a wonderful Mother & He gave that dear Mother to us.

Bebeta's life will be celebrated on Friday, January 28, 2022 with visiting from 1:15 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the eco Life Celebration Centre, Magnolia Chapel of St. John's Dixide Cemetery (737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, at Cawthra), followed by a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Burial will then follow at St. John's Dixie Cemetery.

Guests wishing to attend are reminded that masks are mandatory inside of the building at all times and that contact tracing and physical distancing as well as maximum guest capacity of 100 insidte are mandates in effect.
