A personal note to you, George:

Thank you for being part of my life. You knew me before I was even born and remained an always present fixture, along with Mary for my 40 years on earth.

Although your physical self has left our presence, I will always recall you with respect, smiles and love. I am proud to have been able to tell you that I loved you while you were still here and to force you into a hug, even when you may have just wanted a handshake.

Your legendary laugh and driest of humour will never be forgotten.

I promise to dedicate my next lawn to you and ensure its meticulous beauty, the way you cared for yours.

Sending you peace and love in your departure with hope that I'll hear that laugh again one day.
