I am very saddened to hear of this news. My condolences with the family. Although I did not know Ulyana well, I got to know her through a vacational trip to Aruba where I was a guest in the family’s home.
She was a real firecracker, full of life and loved to have fun, but also deeply compassionate. I remember helping her install skype on her computer and how she went out of her way to feed a stray dog that had nowhere else to go.
Ulyana was such a kind person and she will be missed by many. My thoughts are with Sofiya, Andrew, and the rest of the family.

What a beautiful, happy photograph of Ulyana! I was saddened to hear of her passing. I remember Ulyana's sunny smile as she passed through the halls at CALC. I am so glad that she had the opportunity to retire early and enjoy time in Aruba doing what she loved. I am so very sorry for your loss Sophia and Andrew. May you find comfort in many happy memories.

We worked with Ulyana for close to 15 years. She was a wonderful friend, always encouraging and kind. She was devoted to her students and fiercely proud of her children. We are deeply saddened by her passing.

I had the privilege of working with Ulyana for about 10 years at City Adult Learning Centre. Ulyana was an instrumental member of the school's Leadership Team where she created many opportunities for newcomers and marginalized learners. Her hard work and dedication to the students changed the lives of many.
She adored her children- Sofiya and Andrew- and proudly talked about them often. Ulyana had a wonderful energy and we would often talk about enjoying the beach, ocean and sunshine during retirement. I am so happy Ulyana had the opportunity to enjoy many winters in Aruba, a place she loved. Your energy will always shine in the sunlight Ulyana!

I am very sad and shocked by this news of Ulyana's passing. I used to work with her at CALC and we always used to share stories of our experiences in the tropics but mostly of our daughters - she would always speak with such pride and love of her own.
