Obituary of Randy Maguire

Our gentle and loving Randy (52yrs) passed away February 10th in Toronto.

 He is survived by his beloved children; Morgan Anne, sons, Randy Jules (Sidney), Raddick James (Mindy), Rey Jon (Dreama), and Rowan Jay (Tori), as well as his grandchildren Ily Dreams, Zachary and Taylor Rain, Sianna, his Partner Karrie Sandford, his siblings Laura, William, Donna, Norma Jean, Rose Ann (Tony) and Robert (Gail), his nephews, Kurt, Jason, Randy, Grant, Aaron, Shane, Brett, Nisha, Kevin, Kodi, Kori, Kestin, Kim, Chad, Brian, Jonathan, Terrence, Cody, Brady, Eric, Kaylor, Justin, Ryan and his nieces, Linda, Nikki, Marianne, Naomi, Jackie, Stephanie, Hailey, Laura Grace, Heather, Cassie, Kayla, Tasha, Brianna, Andrea, Vanessa, Brittany and Danielle as well as his foster parents. Hazel and Ernest McDonald and their children. He is also survived by his Nova Scotia family; parents, Thomas and Donna Maguire and brother Thomas John Maguire Jr., and his Morin family, Martin and Myrtle and their children and grandchildren, and his aunts and uncles, Mary Agnes, Mary Rose, Leo (Lena).

He is predeceased by his parents, Jules Paul and Bernadette, his grandparents, William and Anistasia, and Pierre and Philiomene, his son Byron Lee Bear. his brothers Emory, Donald, and Daniel, his uncles Joe (Jean), Abraham (Margaret), Gabriel (Alice), Lewis (Pauline), John (Cecile). He is also predeceased by the beloved mother of his four boys Sandra Laverne Morin.

Randy found deep joy in the lifelong companionship of his brother Daniel, the playful memories of his childhood, the birth of his daughter Morgan, the time with his family and adventures with his closest friends in Nova Scotia, and as an adult, discovering and getting to know the love of his father, brothers and sisters in his birthplace Saskatchewan, in the births and love of his boys and their mother, the fulfillment he felt in his work as a carpenter, and the peace he felt in good health and loving moments with his partner in his final years. Randy is remembered by those who knew him well, and many who had just met him, for his humor, and generosity, and gentility.

A virtual service in memory of Randy’s life will be held at by eco Cremation & Burial Services Inc.,  on February 24 at 4 PM Eastern time. Cremation will follow and his ashes taken to his homes in Nova Scotia, Buffalo Narrows, SK, and Sandy Bay, SK.
