Obituary of Taj Bibi

With a heavy heart we regret to inform you that our dearly beloved Taj Bibi passed away peacefully in her hometown on February 17, 2023 surrounded by her family at the age of 74. She was a loving wife to Mubarak Shafi Massih, dear mother to: Amir, Daniel, Anila and Kashif, devoted mother in law to: Violet, Malin and Patrus and caring grandmother to Adil, Zarish, Anusha, Rohit, Asher, Alisha and Aaron.

She was born and grew up in Kohat, Pakistan surrounded by mountains in 1948. She raised five children with great joy. She was very intellectual and wise individual. Taj will be remembered for her elegant personality, compassion and high standard of care for others. She moved to Canada in 2004 and made her own circle of friends. Her entire life was a perfect model of simplicity, she never followed the worldly ways and lived life with her own style.

Always with a social sense in mind, she supported struggling families, paid the education expenses of several students in her community, financially and spiritually helped churches with their needs such as furniture and did her best to help anyone in need. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren’s accomplishments and supported her grandchildren’s educational pursuits constantly. She honored the lives and memories of family members who have predeceased her by preserving their legacies for her grandchildren.
