Obituary of Soon Gill Choi

Soon Gill Choi, 72 of Barrie, Ontario passed away on December 23, 2023 after battling cancer.  

Soon Gill was born on January 22, 1951 Inchon, Korea to his mother Soon Im Lee and to his father Young Mook Choi.

While working as an electrician in Korea, Soon Gill married his wife and Wonhee in 1979. His son Jin Won was born in 1981.

Soon Gill immigrated to Canada in 1988 and worked hard to establish a life in Canada and has succeed to make a good life for his family.

Soon Gill is survived by his two sisters and brothers and leaves behind his wife and son.

Services will be held at the eco Life Celebration Centre-Magnolia Chapel of St. John's Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas Street East at Cawthra, Mississauga) on Thursday, December 28, 2023 with visiting from 1:15 p.m until 2 p.m. at which time a Funeral Service for him will be celebrated.

Guests are invited to park in the large lot adjacent to the church and proceed through the cemetery gates to the building ahead at the north.

Cremation will follow with interment to be announced here when available.
