Obituary of Arkadiusz Janusz
It is with profound sadness that the family of Arek Janusz announce his passing on January 25, 2024 at the age of 72.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Grazyna and his daughter Paulina (Rob) and son Krystian (Valerie).
Arek (or Dziadek as he was called) will be lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Kaden, Charlotte, Emilee and Austin.
Arek was born in Kielce Poland in 1951. As a young man he was a keen sportsman and earned a black belt in Judo. He developed a passion for fishing at an early age, which continued throughout his life. He passed on his love of fishing to his son Krystian and his grandson Kaden. In the recent years Arek enjoyed travelling with his wife Grazyna and spending the summers in his home country of Poland.
We welcome you to celebrate his life with us on Friday, February 2, 2024 with visiting from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at which time a Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be celebrated at the eco Life Celebration Centre-Magnolia Chaple of St. John's Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas Street East at Cawthra, Mississauga). Cremation will follow with the. Guests are asked to park in the large lot adjacent to the church and proceed through the cemetery gates to the building ahead to the north.
Rite of Committal to take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024 FOR FAMILY ONLY at 11 a.m. at St. John's Dixie Cemetery. Family members wishing to attend are asked to congregate under the car port of the main building at 10:50 a.m. to be guided to the site.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society which can be made by using the Donations tab on his home page.
