Obituary of Linda Ann Maddicks

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Maddicks, who departed this world peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on August 12, 1952, Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Albert and Doreen Delaney.

Linda was the devoted mother to Kristie, Ashley, Amber, Robert aka "Baby Allan”, and Joanne, as well as a beloved mother-in-law to Cris. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Brayden, Alexis, Matthew, Carter, and Jackson. A loving sister, Linda will be fondly remembered by her brothers Brian, Bobby, Barry, Ricky, Gary, and sister Wendy. She is now reunited with her late siblings, Karen and Billy.

Linda was known for her warmth, kindness, and the unwavering love she extended to her family and friends. She was a caring and compassionate soul who brought light into the lives of everyone she met. Her friends and loved ones were blessed to have her as a steadfast presence in their lives.

Linda passed away peacefully with her daughters Kristie, Ashley, and Amber by her side in the early hours of December 23. Her gentle spirit and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Linda’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

 

Please celebrate Linda's life with us on Friday, January 3, 2025 with visiting from 10:15 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at which time a memorial service will be held at the eco Life Celebration Centre-Beach United Church Main Hall (upstairs), 140 Wineva Avenue at Queen Street East, Toronto, followed by interment at St. John's Norway Cemetery (256 Kingston Road, Toronto).

 

Parking is avaible in the Green P lot adjacent to the venue as well as the surrounding streets.
