I was an old freind from Paulette's childhood and we kept in touch for some 60 years. My mother Jessie Daigle was a great friend of Paulette and her mother Kathleen and she died herself last week in Edinburgh at the grand old age of 101. I recall Paulette allowing me to accompany her, along with Jimmy, Brenda & Kathleen to the Shrine Circus. It was a an amazing thing, as I had never seen a live circus before. I must have been a handful at one point, as I recall a verbal scolding being sent my way. Paulette was always kind & generous, and will be surely missed by all whose lives she touched, including mine.
