David Young posted a condolence
Saturday, April 23, 2022
On behalf of all the staff at Niagara Peninsula Homes and in particular myself, Paul Jacques and Kelly Buckley along with so many of our students and graduates, we wish to send our deepest condolences to Jackie and to Bob's children, brother Dave and all of his extended family. Bob was and remains much loved and will be missed by us all. We plan to install a modest memorial to Bob there at our training centre in Welland along with some of his personal artifacts, photo and a plaque thanking him for all he has done. We will miss him and so many others for a brief time but will be together again in the next world. Peace and Love to all of Bob's family and friends.

Bob's calm demeanor made for a good teacher to our many youth programs, Bob was with me from the very start back in 2009 and we always had a good time. Here Bob is shown teaching 2 Team ENERGI (TE) students how to wire up a bathroom fan and light switch. As a master electrician he really was great at trouble shooting electrical problems too.

He also helped me with several big projects including the Keefer Mansion in Thorold and our very own NPH Head Office, Community Resource and Training Centre in Welland (seen here). We plan to install a modest memorial to Bob there with some of his personal artifacts, photo and a plaque thanking him for all he has done.

Our dear Bob was a light for so many people and stood by them during difficult times. We have our families and we have our friends who are like family, and Bob was certainly that to me. There was a belief and a trust that if he ever needed help I would come and if I needed help he would be there too. There was never any questions or conditions, just "what can I do". His calm demeanor made for a good teacher to our many youth programs, Bob was with me from the very start back in 2009 and we always had a good time. He also helped me with several big projects including the Keefer Mansion in Thorold and our very own NPH Head Office, Community Resource and Training Centre in Welland. We will miss him and so many others for a brief time but will be together again in the next world. Will catch up then. See you on the other side amigo. Peace and Love to all of Bob's family and friends.

Bob was sharing some of his stories with with me by email! I love them! I’m grateful that the Lord allowed he and my sister to have seventeen sweet years together. Precious in the sight of the Lord, is the death of His saints. Love and prayers for all of his friends and family.
