My sincere condolences to Shawn and Patricia as well as the extended family.
I was privileged and honoured to have worked with Ross at Father Bressani CHS for many years. He was a highly regarded and dedicated teacher who always put others before himself. Moreover, even after he retired, he never stopped his love of learning and generously shared his vast knowledge/skills with his students and teachers.
I have fond memories of Ross. As a colleague, he was always there to lend a helping hand whenever it was most needed. I will remember Ross as a man of integrity with the warmest smile and big heart.
Shawn and Patricia, "May you trust that love is stronger than death and draw comfort from the bond that unites you with your loved one."

My deepest condolences to both Shawn and Patricia, as well to the extended family.
I will always keep Mr Lawler in my heart. I have deep and everlasting memories that will remain with me forever. Mr Lawler, also known to us as "Sir" made a tremendous difference in my life. I know for certain, that my life would be dramatically different today had it not been for his involvement. He had a big impact in my upbringing, so much so, that I will never forget and hold dearly for the rest of my life.
My only regret, was that I was not able to see him one last time.
Never forgotten, always remembered.

My sincere condolence to the entire Lawler family.
I met Ross at York University in the “Prose Narrative” course. We were both senior citizen students. In fact, this was my ninth course, and Ross was the first other senior citizen in any of my classes. We quickly became friends. We hung out in Vari Hall as we waited for our tutorials after lectures, and sat beside each other in tutorials. When I published my children's picture books, Ross was one of the first person to buy copies. I did not see Ross after that course ended, but we kept in touch. When He became ill, he told me. Ross kept me informed about all his health issues. I kept him in my prayers. He was a gentleman. I will miss our long chats on the phone. May his soul rest in peace.
