I grieve the loss of your beloved father, grandfather, brother, Uncle, and friend. I can only imagine how painful it is for all of you. Death is something I don't think we are ever really prepared for. No amount of words can really express our grief. Frank was a truly wonderful person who always put himself out for others. His hugest Joy was his family.
We wish we had more time, we wish that his remaining time had not been overshadowed by his illness and that things could've been different for him… And for us.
We know he is at peace and his struggles an end. Frank has left us with a long legacy of his love in all the ways he touched our lives will remain.
I deeply regret, I will not be able to attend the service. So I leave you this poem and hope you will find some comfort in it.
Remember
Frank has left his loved ones and as He goes He prays
Lord, don't let them grieve too much
Because I died this day
Let there be no wailing echoing the halls
that once held laughter and answers to his calls.
He cherished every moment
With the woman that was his life.
Walking hand in hand together
Facing life with all its strife
He loved his children dearly
Each one a different way
Nestled always within his heart
Even now that He is far away.
I pray they all take comfort
Excepting this is the way
And listen when I tell them
these things today
Love will be forever,
a promise that will last
So, please love each other more than ever
now that his time with you has passed.
To the living......He is gone
To the sorrowful.....it's because He cannot return
But, if you are happy....He is at peace
And if you have faith, then He has never left.
He cannot speak, but He will always listen
He cannot be seen, but you will hear his voice
Last of all all remember the glowing love to be,
when once again our souls will meet for all eternity.

Frank and I first met somewhere around 2007 when we were in Costa Rica at the same time and staying at the same place. We immediately hit it off with each other and spent a lot of time together during the annual January visits to Costa Rica. Frank loved to talk about his family and especially his two sons and how proud he was of each of them - I also had two sons, and Frank and I were almost the same age. We had a lot in common.
I was deeply saddened to receive the news of his passing - while I had not seen him in about 3 years, the memories of the happy, cheerful, and fine man he was will stay with me always. He had visited me at my home near Atlanta during his visit to the area about 4 years ago. My deepest sympathies are with Frank's family, some of whom I feel as if I know because he talked about them a lot.
I have uploaded three pictures of Frank from Costa Rica. One is a photo of Frank and his pal Frank Morgan - we were riding the bus to Cartago to visit the famous and beautiful church in that city; the other is of Frank taking a nap on the bus on the way back to San Jose from a visit to Manuel Antonio on the Pacific coast; the third is a picture of Frank and me.

MY name is Frank Morgan and frank was in Costa Rica with me in January. He stayed only week because the exchange rate for the Canadian Dollar was not good against the American Dollar. I told frank that I would pay the hotel bill if he stayed the additional two weeks and he could pay me back when the Canadian Dollar got stronger. He declined. The week we were together is never complained about any pain. We got along always and he help me be a better Texas hold'm player. We want to Costa Rica every year for about 15 years and he visited me at my place in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware a few times. We were going to go to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in November for two weeks using my timeshare. I will miss him always. We had fun and laugh a lot and had great times in Costa rica and my place here at the beach. My heart aches knowing that I will never see him again and hear his voice. I send my prayers best wishes to your family for your loss. He was a very good friend to me. May he rest in peace and the angels accompany him to a place of eternal glory.
