Gestures
Laura was a mentor of mine as a grad student in the English Department. She taught me the ropes of the student union among other things. I quickly admired her for meeting any of the challenges that came our way with a wonderful smile and so much grace. Thank you for the lesson, Laura.
We at O.W Toad - the company that manages Margaret Atwood's copyrights, and where Laura worked with us several years ago – were so sad to hear this news. Laura was a wonderful person and everyone was so fond of her. She was kind, generous, smart and courageous. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
