I was lucky enough to work with Lindsay twice - once at Canadian Tire and again at Indigo for about 11 years in total. She was brilliant, funny and kind. We had so much fun together and she was loved and respected by everyone she worked with. She loved animals, Christmas (excel :), and of course her family. Everything she did revolved around them. I cannot express how heartbroken I am for her family to have to experienced such tremendous loss. She will be missed and never forgotten. Hugs-Kate

This was read at Lindsays Burial By Jason.
"Lindsay always had faith and in her final weeks, she became even closer to God. I want to take a passage from The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians, offers us profound insight into the mystery of life and death when he writes, 'For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.'
This verse invites us to see our earthly lives as temporary, like a tent—a structure that serves its purpose for a time but is not meant to last forever. Just as a tent provides shelter for a journey, so too do our bodies carry us through this life. But tents, by their very nature, are impermanent. They wear out, they fade, and eventually, they must be taken down.
Yet, Paul reassures us that when this earthly tent is no longer needed, when our physical bodies can no longer carry us, we are not left homeless. Instead, God has prepared for us a permanent dwelling—a house not made with human hands, but one that is eternal in the heavens. This 'building from God'
As we lay Lindsay to rest, we do so with the hope and the belief that they have moved from this temporary dwelling, this earthly tent, into the eternal house that God has prepared for her. She has stepped into the fullness of life, into a place of peace and joy, where she is reunited with loved ones who have gone before her and where they dwell in the presence of God forever.
In this truth, we find comfort. Though we mourn the loss of Lindsay's presence among us, we take solace in knowing that she is now at peace, Her journey on this earth has ended, but their life in the presence of God has just begun.
Lindsay loved Nature, from her beautiful garden or sitting in a chair on a dock on a lake. She felt at peace in nature. For this reason we return you to the earth in the most natural way possible. As we now commit Lindsay to the earth, we do so with reverence, knowing that her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her. Those who would like, please come forward take a petal from here, and place it on her casket.
Lindsay, we know you are up in heaven now waiting for us to join you. Until then we lay you here in peace. "
