Obituary of Lindsay Brooke Lihou

Lindsay Lihou, cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on August 18th, 2024. Born to Glen and Rebecca, and lovingly raised by them, Lindsay was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her.

She was Jason's beloved wife and a devoted mother to her two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Lily. Lindsay was a caring sister to Cole, Liza, Ryan, Kathryn, Alicia, and Rachel, and a friend whose genuine kindness touched everyone she met.

Lindsay’s intelligence and dedication led her to earn a degree in Biochemistry from Ryerson University, and she excelled in her career, eventually becoming the Manager of Total Awards at Scotia Bank. Her professional achievements were matched by her personal passions.

She loved to read and had a talent for knitting, especially the stuffed animals she made with love. Lindsay was also a masterful cook, known for hosting unforgettable holiday dinners, where her warmth and culinary skills brought joy to her loved ones.

Her favorite time of year was Christmas. Lindsay adorned every inch of her home with decorations, showered her family and friends with gifts, and filled her home with the sounds of Christmas movies playing on loop. It was her way of expressing her boundless love and joy during the holidays.

Lindsay will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Heaven has gained an extraordinary angel.

Please join us in celebrating Lindsay's life on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in service with and at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home (1939 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough) for visiting from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at which time a Funeral Service will be held.

Lindsay's Green Burial will take place on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Mount Hamilton Cemetery (260 Rymal Road East, Hamilton) Guests wishing to attend are asked to park inside the Rymal Road East gates at the roadside to be guided to the Green Burial site.
