I worked with John at GMP Securities, but looking back I think we talked as much about good blues music and dogs as we did mining stocks. John was a great guy and I considered him a friend. My condolences to his family.

Whenever I think about Mr. Curtis, many memories come to mind, but few will always shine brighter. Of course the times he let us pick whichever record we wanted to go in the jukebox, like monster mash, even when it wasn't Halloween. He's one who introduce the best music from all ears, and I'll NEVER forget any of it!, the car with the seats in truck and how'd we'd ONLT want to sit in the trunk when he drove us anywhere, The many many times we'd go to the dog park with grace, there are a million memories I've shared with you guys but one day that will always stand out is the day you were moving, from the house I called a second home my entire childhood. It was a hard day for myself as much as it was for them, I got a call early in the morning from Clare, " you need to come over! Now" worried something serious had happened , I hopped the fence and I was over in less then a minute. I run upstairs, ask Clare what was wrong, and she's like " you won't believe what my dad did!!" Mr Curtis walked into her bedroom. NO MUSTASH. I almost fainted! From the age of 8 I ONLY knew him with a mustash, he was almost unrecongizabale, he just said " We're moving, I think I need a big change too" I'll never forget moment, but I'm pretty sure the following week the mustash was back!
I have so many memories with him, and the family, you guys have always been in the back my mind

Worked alongside John at Stock Brokerage where John was a Professional Trader in equities, always there and always willing to help in any situation where assistance was needed 'John was there'. He was always talking about his family and his dog 'Gracie' whom he took on strolls down by Lake Ontario religiously. He volunteered at many different functions around Port Credit and Gillian and John would often go for strolls down on Lakeshore Blvd. and for night out at the many venues in the area. He will be sorely missed by all that he came into contact with and most of all by his immediate family. RIP John, I will always remember you and Gracie walking by the boat down at the docks.

My sister-in-law always said that a man who loves animals makes the best husband and father. And no one loved his dog more than John. Carole often said that he married the love of his life and the past months have shown how much he was loved in return by his family. I truly hope that the passage of time will make all the things that remind you of John – the pool, holidays, his family - a source of comfort.

Gill, I am very sorry and sadden of John's passing. I will miss him very much. My thoughts are with you, the kids and family.
When I think of John there are three things that come to mind: music, Grace the beautiful chocolate lab, and the once a year X-mas time pizza dinner at your house with our two families! Those are great memories for us and the boys.
